Oct '06 Sweden's public educational broadcaster UR approached Tourist With A Typewriter to request broadcast rights for the group's hour-long documentary I See The Stars At Noon, about a Moroccan man's desperate attempt to illegally cross the Straits of Gibraltar and enter Spain. The documentary has been successfully touring the international festival circuit for just over a year. In that time the film's director Saeed Taji Farouky has published an article about the making of the film, as well as being invited to a number of panel discussions including London's Frontline Club and Germany's Dokfestival Leipzig. The documentary is due to be broadcast on January 29th, 2007. |
