Co-Director Saeed Taji Farouky is a Palestinian-British documentary filmmaker, journalist and photographer whose works has been published by The Observer, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Economist Group, Reuters, BBC Online and Al-Jazeera online, amongst others. His work focuses on the politics and culture of the Arab World, and in 2004 he founded Tourist With A Typewriter along with Gareth Keogh as a response to the scarcity of high-quality, accurate and personal documentary films.

Co-Director Gareth Keogh moved to London in 2000 after spending most of his life in the Middle East. An animator by training, he has worked extensively in the film and television industry for over 6 years, most recently as editor and producer of animated television ads. As co-founder of Tourist With A Typewriter, he is a documentary filmmaker and editor.

Joe Lewis is head of South London's Dojo Studios and an accomplished musician and musical producer. In his work with Tourist With A Typewriter, he is a sound editor, soundtrack composer, and all-round co-conspirator.

Laila El-Haddad is a respected Palestinian freelance journalist based between Gaza and the United States. She is a graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and her work has been published and broadcast on Al-Jazeera online, Guardian Unltd, The New Statesman, The Washington Post, Pacifica’s Free Speech Radio News and BBC World. She recently directed Where Do The Children Play? and co-directed Tunnel Trade for Al-Jazeera International.
